# KOMMA

> KOMMA is a cooperative that designs and builds the tools to hold land and housing in common. It develops mechanisms combining finance, legal form and governance, tests them as real-world demonstrators with communities and institutions, and turns what works into tools and civic technologies others can adapt.

KOMMA operates through two entities: Komma Genossenschaft, a Liechtenstein Venture Cooperative, and Komma Systems UG (haftungsbeschränkt), a German limited company that builds and holds the platform technology. It is co-run by Charles (Charlie) Fisher and Clara Gromaches, based across Liechtenstein, Germany and Spain.

- [Meld](https://komma.systems/en/meld): Civic deliberation infrastructure. A hardware device and privacy-preserving platform that captures deliberation in the room with consent, processes it locally so raw audio never leaves the device, and returns structured documentation. In deployment through the BMBF-funded InnoVER programme with nextlearning e.V.
- Weve: A land registry that records land as the relationships between the people who hold it, from formal titles to customary claims, growing toward the registry layer for community land trusts.
- Relational Wealth Flows: Mechanism design for how neighbourhoods capture and circulate the value they create, including threshold pools for pooled, conditional funding commitments.
- Sensed Governance: A collective practice of embodied, relational governance, helping communities navigate differences before they harden into process.
- EX:Risk: Civic sensing that pairs what residents notice with what data shows, so neighbourhoods and municipalities share one legible early signal.
- EXCLSR: An academy gathering the mechanisms that keep land and housing in common, so other places can read, adapt and replicate what worked.
